Highway to Well: "When I Look at the World," with Marc Young

Highway to Well, Episode 29: "When I Look at the World," with Marc Young

"When you look at the world, what is it that you see? People find all kinds of things that bring them to their knees." - Bono

Our current body politic is seeking its soul. In the midst of a pandemic, the momentum of social justice efforts, and a fight for truth, these times require us to be steadfast in our commitment to making the world a better and safer place. This means, we must "do the work." It also demands that we educate young men, teach them to avoid the pitfalls of emotional negligence, and help them to become empathetic citizens.

In this special episode of "Highway to Well," Marc Young and I dive into the ripples and currents of meaning, context, and experience. Marc is the Director of Admissions and Recruitment at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, but he's also an important voice on race, justice, and community - and in raising young men.
