Highway to Well: "In a Big Country," with Corey Huck
“Until you step into the great unknown, you don’t know what you’re made of.”
Corey Huck, Ph.D., CSCS, is an adventurer and educator. He is the Head of the School of Health Promotion & Human Development, Associate Dean, College of Professional Studies, and an Associate Professor, Health Promotion and Wellness, at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He’s also quite the musky hunter. He's helped people to fulfill their dreams and enhance their ability to live vibrantly. While his work involves helping individuals, organizations and communities achieve optimal wellness and sustain healthy lifestyles, he also embodies the approach that experiencing adventure is the best way to learn.
In this episode, we’ll talk about pathways to wellness, where we think the field is headed, and what Corey sees as leader of one of the most important, if not the most important, academic program in health promotion and wellness in the country. And of course, we’re also going to talk about fishing.
